Membership information for the church is entered on this tab.  Every time membership information is collected for a church another entry is made to the membership table for this church.Old membership data is retained.

When new membership information is gathered for a church, the user will press the green plus icon to enter the new data.

The Collection Method shows where did the church data came from.  Ideally it comes directly from the church, other options that can be selected from the drop down include: from the denomination head quarters, a third party estimate or calculated estimate.  It is important that this field be entered to give the data integrity.

Other fields to enter are the name of the person entering the data, the date or date the information was gathered.  The sample date is important because it tells the users how current the information is.

For membership information the most important field is total members so that the Christian Population can be calculated.  The other fields are flexible and depending upon who the data is being collected for it can be changed.  For example if the number of male and female members is important, those fields can be added.  Other fields users may want to add is the number of children and number of adults
