Using Multiple Criteria

Harvest allows the user to search using more than one criterion (see basics of searching), by simply adding one criterion at a time, as necessary.

For example: if you want to search for all churches started before 1980 that have between 100-300 members, one simply adds the required criteria one by one:

Once you press the Search button or Enter the churches meeting the desired criteria are displayed.

How Harvest Matches Multiple Criteria

Normally, Harvest will apply an 'AND' condition to all your search criteria. In the example above, it will search for all churches that are alive and have the total members between 100 and 300 and have the year founded before 1980.

Only when multiple of the same criteria are entered, Harvest will use an 'OR' to establish the resulting churches. For example in the following case both house churches and Christian gatherings will be returned, yet in each case a church must also be 'alive':

Removing Criteria

Any unwanted criteria can be removed with the red cross symbol next to every criterion. Notice that one has to press "Search" again in order to see the change in results.
